Nick is a Partner and Head of the Family Law Department at Williams Thompson. He deals with all aspects of relationship breakdown including divorce, finances and applications concerning children.

Nick’s broad experience and knowledge of family law means that he can adopt the necessary approach to deal effectively with a wide range of matters, whether these be of modest or of substantial value or complexity.

He is particularly accomplished in dealing with resolving the financial disputes that need to be dealt with following divorce or cohabitation breakdown and has been involved in a number of notable and successful cases. He regularly deals with court hearings when negotiation has not succeeded, including appeals when required.

His abilities have been recognised by his accreditation to the specialist Law Society’s Family Law Panel and he is also a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors' Family Law Association).
